Card rip sites: FAQ
What is a card rip site?+
A card-rip site sells a digital pack that reveals a real, professionally graded trading card (a PSA, CGC or BGS slab) from the operator's insured vault. You can ship the card, keep it vaulted, or sell it back at the site's buyback rate.
Are card rip sites worth it?+
Ripping is entertainment with a house edge: on average a pack returns a little less than it costs. The spread between sites is large though, which is why we measure the typical return per site and per pack from real pulls.
Which card rip site is best?+
Our board sorts sites by the return we counted from their own published openings, shown next to the terms that decide what reaches your pocket: buyback rate, cash-out method and shipping. The best site depends on whether you want cash, crypto or the physical card.
Do card rip sites publish real odds?+
Most publish a value distribution per pack. We compare those advertised odds against what actually comes out of the operators' live feeds and flag the gap in both directions.
