Hidden Leaf, Meet the Trading Card Table: Naruto's New Card Game Gets a Worldwide Date
Bandai Card Games will launch the Naruto Card Game worldwide in June 2027 with three Leader-led Starter Decks, a first booster pack and a plan to hand out 1 million demo decks.

Bandai Card Games has put a date on its next big franchise bet. According to Anime Corner's report on the New York Comic Con presentation, the Naruto Card Game will launch simultaneously worldwide in June 2027. It follows the game's debut at Gen Con 2026, and the first gameplay details and card designs were shown back in July.
The launch lineup starts with three Starter Decks. Each one is a pre-constructed deck built around a different Leader: Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara. Every deck comes with the cards needed to start playing and has its own roster of ninjas and its own play style, so the choice of box doubles as the choice of how you want to play.
The first booster pack is called Enter: Naruto Uzumaki! and also arrives in June. It mixes characters from both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden with new ninjas, techniques and other cards. The stated purpose is to expand the Starter Decks and support custom deck building, which is the usual signal that the game wants to be collected as well as played.
Bandai is not waiting for June to build a player base. Premier Demo Events begin in February 2027 at participating trading card game stores. They will first appear at select large-scale stores taking part in Bandai TCG+, with more locations planned later. In spring 2027, a worldwide campaign will distribute a total of 1 million Demo Decks, so a lot of people will have held the game before it is on sale.
Two event-exclusive products were announced as well: an advance-release Official Playmat titled Naruto vs. Sasuke, and a Premium Card Collection Vol.00 called the CHAKRA Set. Both will be available through Premier Demo Events and select Bandai Card Games Fest 26-27 events, including the ones in Orlando and London. Event-only items like these tend to be the first thing collectors go looking for on the secondary market, though no prices were given.
Presentation matters for a licensed game, and Bandai showed a new teaser with original artwork by Studio Pierrot. New card illustrations were revealed at the same panel. The next big update for the game is scheduled for Jump Festa 2027 in December.
For collectors the picture is clear even without a price list. A global, same-day release, a first set that spans both series, and a seven-figure demo deck giveaway all point to a game that is meant to be big from day one. What is still missing is the part this site cares about most: print runs, rarity structure and pull rates. None of that has been announced yet.
